Reading a Binance Delisting Notice the Way You Would Read an A-Share Delisting

In the EPIC and QUICK delisting notice, spot trading stops on October 28, while futures, margin and Simple Earn hit their deadlines about a week earlier. Whether tokens left after the withdrawal deadline get converted into stablecoins is something Binance does not guarantee.

Split cover image: on the left, the GUBIDAO name, red and green candlesticks and small Chinese text meaning trading stops, then withdrawals only; on the right, white Chinese lettering on dark purple meaning Binance delistings compared with the A-share delisting period, with an orange round arrow between the halves
The Chinese lettering on the cover reads “trading stops → withdrawals only” under the candlesticks on the left and “Binance delistings, compared with the A-share delisting period” on the right.

When Longyu Data was delisted from the A-share market, its shares still had a 15-trading-day delisting period on the Shanghai Stock Exchange after the termination decision was announced, and once removed they could still be transferred on venues such as the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ). When Binance delists a token, spot trading stops at the time set in the announcement. The tokens stay in your account, but the only thing left to do with them on Binance is withdraw them to an external wallet, and the withdrawal window usually runs until two months after the delisting date.

On October 14, 2026, Binance announced that Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK) would stop trading and be delisted at 03:00 UTC on October 28. All orders are removed automatically once trading stops, and withdrawals are scheduled to end at 03:00 UTC on December 28.

Longyu Data got a 15-trading-day delisting period; on Binance only withdrawals remain once trading stops

In 2025 the Shanghai Stock Exchange published its announcement terminating the listing of Shanghai Longyu Data (in Chinese). The auditor issued a disclaimer of opinion on Longyu Data's 2023 financial report, and from May 6, 2024 the stock carried a delisting risk warning. Its 2024 financial report drew another disclaimer of opinion, after which the company met the conditions for termination of listing.

What followed was this: starting the trading day after five trading days had passed from the exchange's announcement, the shares entered the delisting period. It lasted 15 trading days, with no price limit on the first day and a 10% limit on the rest; within 5 trading days after it ended, the shares were removed and the listing terminated. After removal, the company had to arrange at once for the shares to move to a venue such as NEEQ so they could be transferred within 45 trading days of the removal date. If the company disagreed with the decision, it could ask the exchange for a review within 5 trading days of the announcement.

For holders, the time left on each side serves a different purpose. Longyu Data shareholders could still trade on the exchange during the delisting period, and after removal the shares could still change hands on NEEQ or a similar venue. Once a token is delisted from Binance, no Binance product or service supports it any longer. Spot trading in EPIC and QUICK had 14 days to run from the announcement; after it stops, there are 61 days until the December 28 withdrawal cutoff.

If you insist on an A-share equivalent, Binance's withdrawal window is closer to the transfer period after removal. The difference is that what comes next happens outside Binance: where the tokens go once they are withdrawn to an external wallet, and what is done with them, is up to the holder, and Binance is no longer involved.

The reasons for reaching this point differ in kind as well. Longyu Data's case started with audit opinions. When Binance runs delisting reviews, the examples it gives of the factors it weighs fall into four kinds of risk: legal/compliance, project going-concern, market and ethical, with poor liquidity and low market capitalisation counted as market risk. Separately, Binance puts a Monitoring Tag on tokens with notably higher volatility and risk than other listed tokens, adding or removing it in the first week of every month; the tag is explained in What the Binance Monitoring Tag Means, Compared With an A-Share ST.

Every deadline in Binance's EPIC and QUICK delisting notice

The announcement sets a time for each product and notes that whether each arrangement applies depends on that product's link to the delisted tokens. All times in the table are in 2026 and in UTC.

ServiceTime (UTC)What happens then
Spot trading10-28 03:00Trading stops and the pairs are delisted; all orders are removed automatically, and applicable Trading Bots services end at the same time

Futures, loans, margin, the mining pool and Binance Pay all reach their deadlines on October 20, and Simple Earn and Spot Copy Trading on October 21. Several of these are handled by the platform under its own rules: perpetual contracts are settled automatically, loan positions and isolated margin positions are closed automatically, outstanding copy-trading assets are force-sold at market price, and Flexible and Locked positions in Simple Earn are redeemed to the Spot Account automatically along with any accrued rewards. To close a position on your own timing, act before the matching deadline.

If you use Portfolio Margin, before the Margin Scheduled Delisting Time of 10:00 UTC on October 20, move the two tokens from your margin account to your spot account, top up the margin balance where needed, and keep a close eye on your Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio (uniMMR), so that removing the pairs from the margin account doesn't trigger a liquidation.

Withdraw delisted tokens to an external wallet, much as Longyu Data shares moved to NEEQ after removal

Withdrawals stay open until the deadline in each delisting announcement. Binance's help center article Binance Delisting Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions puts that gap at generally two months after the delisting date, with the actual suspension time depending on the situation; for EPIC and QUICK it is 61 days from the end of trading to the end of withdrawals. After the deadline, the platform may convert the tokens into stablecoins on users' behalf after 03:00 UTC on December 29, with a separate notification beforehand where applicable, and the conversion itself is not guaranteed; where it isn't feasible, Binance keeps withdrawals open subject to network availability. Treating that conversion as a fallback is a shaky plan.

Binance delisting FAQ answering Can I withdraw a delisted coin from Binance: delisted tokens can be withdrawn to external wallets, withdrawals generally stop two months after the delisting date, and a note says tokens may be converted into stablecoins after withdrawals cease
Delisted tokens can be withdrawn to an external wallet, usually for two months after the delisting date under Binance's October 2026 rules; anything left after that may be converted into stablecoins.

Work through it in the order Binance recommends to holders:

  1. Check the official announcement on the Binance website or app and match it against every product you use; if you hold futures, loans or Simple Earn positions, work to their earlier deadlines.
  2. If a market still exists, decide whether to sell before trading is suspended. Convert delists EPIC and QUICK at 02:00 UTC on October 28, an hour before spot, and Convert Low-Value Assets does so at 02:00 UTC on October 27.
  3. Withdraw to a compatible external wallet before the withdrawal deadline. First confirm that the crypto wallet you are sending to can receive the token, then start the withdrawal; anything deposited back to Binance after 03:00 UTC on October 29 will not be credited. Once trading stops, accounts no longer show these tokens' valuation, so make sure “Hide Small Balances” is not selected if you want to see the balance.
  4. Look into any conversion options Binance may offer for the delisted token. Before trading stops there are Convert and Convert Low-Value Assets; after withdrawals end there is the possible conversion into stablecoins.
  5. Watch for Binance's later notices on what happens to the assets. Whether the conversion goes ahead, and when, will be announced in those notices.

How final a Binance delisting is, and where the real notice comes from

Can a coin delisted by Binance come back, the way an A-share stock can relist?

It can, but it isn't guaranteed. A delisted project may be relisted in the future if it fixes the issues that led to its removal and meets Binance's current listing requirements, and each case is assessed on its own. For news on previously delisted assets, check Binance's official announcements.

If only one trading pair is delisted, can I still trade the token?

Yes, through other pairs. Delisting a spot or margin pair doesn't affect the token's availability on Binance Spot or Margin, and both the base and the quote asset can still be traded on other pairs Binance offers. Delisting a token goes further: it is removed from all Binance products and services, together with every applicable spot and margin pair.

Can I trust messages claiming to know Binance's delisting list in advance?

Binance does not disclose delisting decisions to outside parties, and that includes the project teams of listed tokens. Holders get advance notice, usually by email and through official announcements. If you see a so-called insider list, look in the announcements on the Binance website or app for a matching delisting notice.
