Privacy policy
Who we are
This policy applies to the website gubidao.com (below, "GUBIDAO," "this site," "we"). It's a content education site with no account system — you don't need to register or log in. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. There are three categories:
- What you give us directly: only when you email [email protected] do we get your email address and the contents of your message, which we use to reply. Beyond that, this site has no form asking you for personal information.
- Automatically generated technical information: like nearly every website, the server keeps standard access logs when you visit (such as a processed IP, browser type, time of visit, referring page), used for security and troubleshooting.
- Anonymous visit statistics: we may use a privacy-conscious analytics tool to understand, in an anonymous, aggregated way, which articles are popular and where the site needs improvement. These stats are not used to identify you personally.
We do not collect your name, ID documents, phone number, address or payment information, and we can't touch your account, password, private keys or seed phrase at Binance or any exchange — there's no technical connection between this site and your trading account.
The site's tools and your input
Worth spelling out: this site's fee calculator, position calculator and similar tools all run in your own browser. The trade amounts, principal, prices and other numbers you enter are not uploaded to our servers; we can't see them and don't store them. Close or refresh the page and that input is gone.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use third-party advertising cookies that track you across sites or target ads at you. Any cookies or similar storage that may appear are limited to two purposes: keeping the site working (necessary technical cookies); and the anonymous visit statistics mentioned above. If you'd rather not be counted, you can block cookies or turn on "Do Not Track" in your browser settings — it won't affect your normal reading of this site.
How affiliate (referral) links work
This site contains referral links to Binance carrying our invite code BN88668. When you click one of these links (for example the "Join Binance" button), you're taken to Binance's official page, where Binance may use its own cookie to record this referral, so the commission can be attributed to us after you sign up.
Two things to be clear about here: first, this step happens on Binance's side and is governed by Binance's own privacy policy — once you click, you're on Binance's turf, so see Binance's privacy terms for the specifics. Second, we don't get your personal identity information out of this — commissions are settled on aggregated data, and we don't see "a specific you" signing up for anything. This site runs on these referrals; see the about page.
Third-party services
To keep the site running, we use some third-party infrastructure, such as content delivery/hosting and font loading. In serving you pages, these services may come into contact with some of your technical information (like IP), each governed by its own privacy policy. We lean toward privacy-conscious providers when choosing, but we can't be responsible for third parties' practices.
We don't sell your data
No exceptions on this one: we do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Nor do we share the contents of your emails with third parties unrelated to replying to you, unless the law clearly requires it.
Data retention
Email correspondence: we keep it only for the reasonable period needed to handle your matter, and clear it once resolved and no longer needed. Server access logs: rotated and deleted on a short cycle as a matter of course, used only for security and operations. Anonymous statistics contain nothing that identifies you and are kept in aggregate form for trend analysis.
Your rights
Depending on where you are (e.g. the EU's GDPR, the UK's and other similar regulations), you may have the following rights: to ask whether we hold personal data relating to you and request a copy, to ask us to correct wrong information, to ask for deletion (the right to be forgotten), to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Since we hold almost no data that identifies a person (unless you've emailed us), in most cases all that's involved is your email correspondence. To exercise these rights, just write to [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site's content is for adults and involves high-risk financial topics; it is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated; when it changes we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll note it in an appropriate place on the site. Continuing to use the site means you're aware of the latest version of the policy.
