Crypto is extremely high-risk

Prices can swing violently, with no price limits. The market runs 24 hours with no circuit breakers; double-digit daily moves are routine, and when liquidity is thin a single "wick" can knock your order out in an instant.
You can lose all your principal, even down to zero. This isn't scaremongering. Many projects end up worthless and their tokens worth nothing; even with major coins, a deep drawdown can wipe out anyone who's heavily positioned or leveraged.
Leverage and futures multiply losses, all the way to liquidation. With leverage, a small move against you can hit the liquidation line, and the loss far exceeds the "most I can lose" you had in mind.
And risks the stock market doesn't have: exchanges can fail, a lost or leaked wallet private key means assets are essentially unrecoverable, smart contracts can have bugs, scams are endless, and regulation in different regions can change at any time.

Only use money you can fully afford to lose, and be genuinely prepared to lose all of it. Don't borrow, and don't touch emergency funds or retirement money to dabble in crypto.
